About the role:

The Cloud Software Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing test documentation and procedure and executing tests on various software products produced by software engineering. Testing responsibilities will cover mobile apps, back-end API, and firmware. Tests may be conducted manually or automated depending on the situation.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of work experience as an AQA;
  • Good understanding of OOP/strongly typed programming languages (Java, Python, TypeScript, etc.);
  • Knowledge in OOP and SOLID principles/development best practices/design patterns;
  • Advanced experience in REST API testing;
  • Expertise in developing Test Automation Framework from scratch (API focused);
  • Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit5, Cucumber, Pytest, etc.;
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Gitlab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.);
  • Setup of test automation CI/CD jobs and pipelines (smoke, regression, etc.);
  • Experience with AWS tools (EC2, Lambda, etc.);
  • Expertise with VCS (version control systems) and Unix/Linux systems;
  • Good knowledge of build tools;
  • Parallel execution of tests;
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and daily scrum;
  • Strong communication skills.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with Jenkins integration;
  • Familiarity with BE automation or API validation;
  • Not required to have pets but highly recommended 🙂

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prioritize testing activities;
  • Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application;
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts;
  • Troubleshoot automation software issues;
  • Support, maintain, and enhance all test-case-automation-related activities during iterative development and system testing;
  • Design and develop test documentation;
  • Prepare detailed test reports;
  • Communicate and collaborate with developers and other team members;
  • Perform additional responsibilities when required;
