DevOps Engineer

About the role:

Are you a DevOps Engineer who is familiar with different AWS applications and offerings? What about Kubernetes clusters? If you understand the value and importance of data in modern commerce and are looking for new challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Skills & Experience:

Experience managing AWS applications and familiarity with all of their core, compute, networking, storage, security, compliance, serverless, and analytics offerings, including AWS VPC networking, IAM roles, etc.
Experience with configuring, setting up, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters; the ability to create Dockerfiles to build applications and deploy them appropriately on Kubernetes based on best practices; Kustomize/Helm tools experience;
Expert knowledge and experience with IaC tools such as Terraform (Terragrunt);
Robust skills with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins;
Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testings;
Ability to build systems that balance scalability, availability, and latency while solving different problems;
Knowledge of various monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog);
Strong experience with environment and deployment automation;
Advanced written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

Experience with big data related to AWS technologies such as HIVE, Spark, ETL, AWS Glue, Presto, Hadoop, Athena, RedShift, AirFlow, etc.

Responsibilities:

Complete automation of setting up new development environments from scratch;
CI/CD implementation;
Configure and manage Istio in Kubernetes clusters based on best practices;
Support database environments (PostgreSQL), including replication, log shipping, performance tuning, and backups.

About the Project

We have three different projects in the company with different tech stacks involved. We work by Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum with two-wees-long sprints) using cutting-edge technologies.

Depending on the project and role, our engineers deliver working software from idea to release on production with upcoming releases and tweaks.

The main product aimed to help e-commerce platforms sellers to grow their business with the help of additional funding and analysis of selling history:

Development of GUI to display different graphs based on results from valuation models using Amazon Seller data;
Development of API interface for underlying models;
AWS Cognito integration for auth;
Deliver to production with all necessary sustain
