Java Developer (US-based)

About the role:

We are looking for a talented Java Developer living anywhere in the United States to work remotely with Proxet on a permanent contract. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder and is eligible to work in the United States.

Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle;
5+ years of professional experience with Java Core;
Experience with Spring Boot and microservices;
Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;
Experience with queuing and streaming technologies such as Kafka;
Experience with basic web development;
Knowledge of the REST approach;
Strong verbal, written, and team-oriented communication skills;
Good English speaking/writing skills;
Candidate should be a self-starter who is motivated to set and achieve goals and takes initiative within the team.

Nice to have:

Experience with Spark Streaming;
Start-up experience.

Responsibilities:

Develop new features for an intelligent file management system;
Bug fixing, refactoring, performance measurement, and maintenance of corresponding documentation;
Communicate with our teams and customers.
