We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Colombia and work on an innovative project in the educational field.

About the project:

Our client is an American Ivy League research University that has built up a Business School for their graduates. They are working on a project to help users improve their quality of life according to their core values.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
5+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer or in a similar role;
Strong hands-on experience in test plan and test cases creation;
Strong experience performing manual testing for web applications;
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes;
Experience or knowledge with Git, Bitbucket, Unix/Linux, Jenkins;
Knowledge of version control systems and issue-tracking tools;
Experience testing AWS Cloud components;
Experience with accessibility is a big plus;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing;
Strong communication and collaboration skills;
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment;
Intermediate (B2) English or above; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English;

Nice to have

Test Automation knowledge or experience

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications;
Design and implement test cases to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability;
Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify bugs and issues;
Work proactively and autonomously in different QA tasks;
Perform regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not adversely impact existing functionality;
Collaborate with development teams to verify successful issue resolution;
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools;
