Our Client is rapidly expanding his development effort and is seeking PHP Software Engineers to join a small team of dedicated engineers, developers, artists for an exciting project with the exciting company. As a PHP Software Engineer, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

ABOUT PROJECT:

We are gathering a new team in for our new customer. This team will be completely independent and help to build a new generation of Identity Theft Protection, Credit Monitoring, Data Breach management platform. The New platform should replace old monolithic systems step by step with new microservices architecture. You will have an opportunity to participate in building new architecture and choosing the right technologies for a platform which uses millions of users in the USA.

What we looking for

Requirements:

Background in software engineering, a degree in computer science or related technical discipline;
A firm grasp of Computer Science fundamentals including object oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis;
4+ years of experience with PHP stack and Laravel;
Relational and non-relational databases design and optimization skills;
Experience with REST API documentation strategies (Swagger, PHPDoc);
Knowledgeable real-time web UI technology (ex. WebSockets, HTTP/2, pub/sub, messaging brokers);
English — Upper Intermediate or above.

Will be a plus:

Familiar with Slim and REST API frameworks for PHP;
1+ years of full-stack Web UI development (modern javascript frontend frameworks);
Knowledge of data pipelining and pub/sub architectures;
Knowledge of DevOps systems, CI/CD, deployment pipeline;
Knowledge of WordPress.

Responsibilities:

Participating in the design, development;
Covering code by Unit, Integration and Performance tests;
Research new technologies and products;
Help product owners to make right decisions;
Work with a team of highly-motivated server and client engineers;
Set teamwide best practices for PHP code quality and API architecture;
Set standards for internal API documentation and development workflows.
