About the role:

We’re looking for an empathetic and result-oriented Project Manager/Delivery Manager to lead one of our US-based projects/accounts. This highly-visible role spans multiple global touch-points, including project and delivery management, client relationships, technical consultancy, and new talent recruitment.

As our Project Manager, you’ll lead the projects with 5-10 engineers; As a Delivery Manager, you will ensure high-quality project delivery for the client, participate in pre-sales activities and new business opportunities, and build delivery excellence practices together with your colleagues.

About the project:

The client currently runs the fund using Salesforce as the master data repository and Google Drive for document storage. Ranging from Excel to external commercial tools and custom-built user-facing apps, different departments use multiple siloed systems for data management.

The major challenge is the suboptimal time to make the final decision as analysts can’t rely on the existing data due to possible human errors and complicated data management. The solution is to build a unified data platform that will be integrated with Salesforce and other existing systems to efficiently transform financial, legal, and ops data to data marts that are ready for interaction and comprehensive visualization with BI tools on web and mobile platforms.

*As a project/delivery manager, you might be involved in additional projects/responsibilities as required.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience:

Proficient in English communication;
5+ years of relevant experience in project management;
Strong technical background in development;
Professional experience in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment with the ability to build strong communication bridges between people with different backgrounds and mindsets.;
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies; ability to find the balance between written rules and creative solutions;
Experience in scaled enterprise delivery frameworks and practical experience with fixed prices.

NICE TO HAVE:

Managerial experience in multicultural environments.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager:

Project management with one or more scrum teams within accounts;
Manage customer expectations, hold internal contributors accountable for their commitments and deliverables, and proactively follow up with process participants;
Ensure the quality of the process and deliverables;
Remove bottlenecks; escalate and resolve issues;
People management.

As a Delivery Manager:

Scope management and project planning;
Resource and financial management;
Expectation and escalation management;
Technical excellence and best practice implementation;
Remove process bottlenecks and resolve issues.

Other duties:

Support the business development team in pre-sales, professional events, and client-facing negotiations;
Support recruitment processes.
