About the role:

We are looking for a senior business analyst to join our team and work on a project in the Real Estate Investment domain. The role is designated to ensure the smooth delivery of the product that meets customer expectations through understanding business needs, eliciting, documenting, communicating, and managing requirements from the earliest stages of the project.

About the project:

The client specializes in real asset investment management for institutional, (semi-)professional, and private investors. Their specialist teams have the technical investment expertise, underscored by environmental, social, and governance competence, to match clients’ requirements to a tee.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a BA in the IT field.
Experience in analyzing, clarifying, and translating business requirements into user stories, functional, and technical specifications.
Experience with the Financial domain.
Experience in Data projects.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile practices.
Proven experience participating in presales, discoveries, starting projects from scratch, and leading to finish;
Hands-on with stakeholder management and horizontal communication;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
Advanced spoken and written English.

Nice to have

Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, or QuickSight.
Knowledge of SQL and data tech stack.
Knowledge of Human-Centered Design and Jobs to Be Done frameworks.

Responsibilities

Identify business needs and elicit functional and non-functional requirements;
Participate in discovery;
Document, analyze, and break down requirements into clear, unambiguous, and actionable items;
Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders and the dev team to outline the solution;
Communicate with stakeholders and the team to properly manage expectations;
Maintain requirements knowledge base;
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user training;
Advocate for the business needs as a whole and consider the effect of changes at each level.
