Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role:

If you’re a DevOps Engineer who knows the ins and outs of Linux/Unix servers, this is a great opportunity to join early and influence the technology selection, design processes, and have ownership of the infrastructure of a metaverse-based project!

Salary:

4,500 - 7,500 USD

Location:

Remote/Ukraine/Europe

Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in supporting/configuring Linux/Unix servers;
2+ years of experience in using cloud services (AWS, including EMR and RDS);
1+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka;
1+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker;
Experience in using Jenkins or similar tech;
Good knowledge of scripting: Python and Bash;
Proficient English;
Proactive and initiative mindset.

Will be a plus:

Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Helm, AirFlow, or similar tech;
Experience with data engineering techniques and high-load infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Support and improve the continuous integration process to ensure fast, consistently successful, and easy-to-maintain deployments;
Select and implement new technologies in CI/CD process and high-load infrastructure;
Create leading-edge technologies that are critical to our business and are so awesome that they are typically open-sourced.

We have been cooperating with Together Labs for approximately three years.

Data processing (1 Tb daily) for their product team
Core product development for IMVU and WithMe: backend, mobile, web, and DevOps services to make products superb and attractive

Our responsibilities involve data analytics for their product team, processing terabytes of data in the process with more than 10 million MAU. We work with our clients on multiple products with a wide range of audiences. We help our client to minimize their cost of operations and optimize the processes using the best open-source solutions.
