About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team in Colombia. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.

About the project:

Our client is an American-European e-commerce and logistic conglomerate company with an European development team. The company provides a platform for searching, configuring, and ordering interior, as well as samples of architectural, construction, and design materials. Executing complex searches across hundreds of brands in seconds, architects and designers customers can find and order all the material samples they need in one place.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

5 + years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development.

Proficiency in Typescript, GO, and other relevant programming languages.

Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.

Expertise in unit testing and knowledge of TDD & BDD development patterns

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Event Bridge, etc.

Strong knowledge of API development and integration.

Proficiency in Postgres SQL for database design and management.

Familiarity with Kafka or similar message queueing systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Develop new internal applications supporting product catalog, interfaces, and integrations using Node.js, GO, and other relevant technologies.
Design and implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and flexibility.
Utilize AWS services for hosting, deployment, and management of applications.
Develop and maintain APIs for seamless communication between different systems and services.
Design and manage databases using Postgres SQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications as needed.
