Senior Java Developer for Employa

We are inviting an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team to diversify our experience and help us to produce high-quality software products.

What we looking for

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with Java Core 8+ (we are using Java 11 for now);
3+ years of experience with Spring (Core, Web, Data, JPA, Boot);
Good knowledge and experience with Kafka;
2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB;
Amazon Web Services (AWS);
Unit testing: JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers;
Knowledge with Gradle, Caching (Hazelcast);
Knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes;
Understanding REST API concepts;
Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.

Will be a plus:

Knowledge and ability to configure deployment and system monitoring processes (logging, tracing etc.);
Good experience in architecture design and solving of optimization issues;
Experience with Lombok, Mapstruct.

Challenges

Responsibilities:

Work with a highly skilled engineering team in all phases of the Agile development process from design to deployment;
Design, develop, and maintain a high scale, high-performance real-time applications;
Work with quality assurance, release engineering and product management to deliver quality software;
Identify, design, and implement improvements to the current architecture. This may include: internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, reducing cost, re-designing infrastructure for greater reliability, etc;
Take your own initiative in the development process and working atmosphere improvements, be proactive in suggesting new vision and approaches to the platform development; anticipate in problems or issues solutions that may arise;
Deliver constant value back to the business in a highly agile team approaching near-continuous deployment;
leading java team, working with tasks decompositions and implementation mitigation.
