We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team in Colombia and work on a project in the logistic domain.

About the project:

Our client is an American-European e-commerce and logistic conglomerate company with a development team in Europe. The company provides a platform for searching, configuring, and ordering interior, as well as samples of architectural, construction, and design materials. Executing complex searches across hundreds of brands in seconds, architects and designers customers can find and order all the material samples they need in one place.

Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Automation Engineer for validating software product(s) to detect, isolate, and help resolve issues. You will collaborate extensively with product management and developers to understand, scope out, and execute ad hoc, exploratory, new feature manual tests and automated smoke, sanity, and regression tests.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience

B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field;
8 years of experience working in software quality engineering roles, developing code, and putting that code into tests that support production software;
Proficient with Selenium and/or Cypress;
Work experience in Playwright;
Experience in Appium;
Strong familiarity with Test plan and test cases creation;
Demonstrated expertise in Regression and performance testing;
Solid understanding of Design, develop, enhance, and maintain automation for APIs, Web and Mobile;
Familiarity with API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, and Tavern;
Understand code version control via Git and GitHub;
Knowledge in CI/CD tools;
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Lead automation strategy and implementation for QA testing;
Develop and maintain API and UI automation for Web and Mobile;
Troubleshoot technical and end-user scenarios in collaboration with development teams;
Mentor team members on QE best practices and automation;
Implement tools and manage test infrastructure;
Ensure end-to-end quality with continuous deployment and testing processes;
Facilitate sprint goal setting, testing discussions, and review meetings.
