About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging and effective user experiences from conceptualization to implementation. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure our products deliver intuitive and satisfying solutions for our users to help us build from scratch the infrastructure of a responsive web application for a prestigious American University.

About the project:

Our client is an American Ivy League research University that has built up a Business School for their graduates. They are working on a project to help users improve their quality of life according to their core values.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, experience with Accessibility is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Figma, utilizing it as a primary tool for design creation and collaboration.
  • Strong ability to comprehend the importance of a good user experience and effectively contribute to the overall product development process.
  • Diverse portfolio showcasing your design process and a range of user-interface deliverables.
  • Ability to create complex prototypes for usability testing, including skills in creating animation, transitions, and micro-interactions to support the prototype
  • In-depth knowledge of interaction patterns, with a keen focus on incorporating industry best practices in mobile websites.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with US Accessibility standards and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product and Software Engineering teams to contribute to the interaction design, research, and end-to-end user experience design.
  • Independently work on creating holistic digital experiences while adhering to Brand Standards and UX Guidelines.
  • Create high-fidelity UI design in all major responsive breakpoints (phone, tablet & desktop) as well as an associated functional prototype for testing 
  • Document design patterns and contribute to the development of design libraries.
  • Utilize both established “best practices” and personal insights to make informed design decisions.
