About the role:
We’re looking for a Success / Onboarding Software Engineer to join our team and ensure a seamless experience for new customers as they go live with the client's platform. In this role, you will fulfill critical customer needs by implementing systems integrations, customizing solutions, and importing / exporting data as requested. This is a key operational position in dynamic, startup-oriented environment. As a Customer Success Engineer, you will collaborate with functional teams, support services, and software engineers to meet customer onboarding and ongoing needs.

Who are we looking for?
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, quality assurance, customer success, or related technical field.
- Deep knowledge of XSLT and/or XML.
- Experience working with the QuickBooks API preferred.
- Proven expertise in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience working hands-on crafting ad-hoc system scripts or small microservices.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to interact with them.
- Experience with version control systems preferred (e.g., Git).
- Comfortable working with a ticket tracking system such as Jira or Freshdesk.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be available to work during standard office hours US Eastern Time.
Responsibilities
- Write XSLT to configure our SaaS QuickLink product for integration with each customer’s QuickBooks.
- Configuration of a CLI tool via XSLT to meet the customers’ integration requirements.
- Query data out of MS SQL Server databases as needed. Import data during customer onboarding.
- Assist customers directly, as needed, during product implementations. Join customer meetings and collaborate over email.
- Work closely with customer success team members to investigate and debug systems issues.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in back-end systems, and continuously seek improvements in processes and customer experience.
