About the role

We are looking for a Data Architect to join the team working on an end-to-end data platform solution for a client within financial services. You’ll be an integral part of an expanding engineering team working in close collaboration with our client’s in-house team.

To accelerate its digital transformation, the organization is adopting Palantir Foundry as a core data and application platform. The focus is on building scalable solutions that showcase Foundry’s value, drive adoption, and create a pipeline of business-funded initiatives. These efforts aim to enable efficient data transformation and client-specific reporting at enterprise scale. Together, they will strengthen reporting capabilities, improve efficiency, and establish a foundation for data-driven applications across global operations.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering roles with focus on data architecture;
  • Database management and SQL proficiency, Knowledge of modern data warehousing tools like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift (hands-on);
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry using: Ontology, Ontology manager, Ontology functions/Actions, AIP;
  • Strong knowledge of Palantir Foundry features, Pipeline builder, Workshop, Security to build a safe organization, allocate resources, ensure upgrades and rollbacks, set up branching infrastructure.
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry Quiver, Contour, OSDK and integration with external systems;
  • Data modeling and design;
  • Programming skills (Python, Spark);
  • Experience of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements;
  • Knowledge of big data technologies, machine learning integration or API development;
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (at least one AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable solutions;
  • Expertise in streaming pipeline design and complex data transformation;
  • Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into effective technical designs;
  • Experience with performance optimization for large-scale databases;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices;
  • Understanding the Real estate industry domain specifics and integrations with ERP data are a plus;
  • Problem-solving mindset to address technical challenges in dynamic environments;
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Expertise in using and/or introducing AI-based coding practices to the projects.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the enterprise data architecture vision, aligning it with business strategy and long-term technology direction;
  • Design scalable, interoperable architectures spanning databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud ecosystems to support diverse business needs;
  • Establish data modeling standards and frameworks for consistent organization-wide use, ensuring both current efficiency and future adaptability;
  • Architect end-to-end data platform solutions, aligning with enterprise integration patterns;
  • Set standards and best practices for CDC, data lineage, metadata management, and master data management (MDM);
  • Define enterprise-level policies for data governance, security, privacy, and compliance, working closely with risk and security teams;
  • Anticipate growth and design the data platform for scalability, resilience, and cross-platform interoperability;
  • Provide technical leadership across teams: guiding engineers, analysts, and scientists in adopting architecture standards;
  • Evaluate emerging data technologies, cloud-native services, and architectural patterns to recommend strategic adoption;
  • Serve as the bridge between C-level business vision and hands-on engineering execution, ensuring data architecture drives both innovation and operational efficiency.
