About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack developer to join our team and work on a project with a consolidated US company in the financial sector. You’ll work closely with the cloud software engineering group to develop and deploy scalable enterprise-level software to the cloud with a focus on security, resilience, and availability utilizing modern cloud technologies.
About the project:
Our client is an experienced financial company in the taxing field based in the United States. For our project, you will help drive the software architecture design, modernization, and transformation to modern microservice-based platforms and distributed systems in the cloud.
Who are we looking for?
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of Java microservice development;
- Demonstrated experience in Kotlin;
- Experience with React;
- Advanced skills in REST/API services and GraphQL;
- Prior experience in PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL);
- Working knowledge in Unit Testing;
- Proficiency with App Engine, Microservices, Autoscaling, Kubernetes, etc.;
- Experience in modern software development and CI/CD practices (Git, Jenkins, GCP, Release Mgmt., etc.).
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud architecture (preferably Google Cloud).
Responsibilities:
- Design, write, & execute high-quality code based on standard development best practices;
- Optimize and transform existing code to better scale, leveraging platforms for transformation.
- Serve as a contributor on technical solutions decisions;
- Assist in prioritization of backlog items and software defects;
- Evaluate technical trade-offs against business requirements;
- Suggest and implement solutions to improve processes;
- Compose technical documentation, reports, and diagrams;
- Perform Unit and integration testing.
- Participate actively in PR reviews.
- Work collaboratively and proactively with teammates and the client;
- Have a high level of ownership with assigned tasks.
