We are seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Architect to act as the go-to technical authority for solving our most complex data integration, functional, and scalability challenges. This role blends deep data engineering expertise with architect-level solution design and client-facing leadership.
The Architect will partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, engineering teams, compliance functions, and end-users to ensure successful business onboarding, scalable solution delivery, and data integrity. As a trusted problem solver, this person will operate with significant latitude to guide projects end-to-end, from concept to successful launch and optimization.
You will be the one who steps in when challenges are hard and stakes are high. This role combines hands-on technical mastery with business-facing leadership, ensuring that solutions are not only built right, but also deliver measurable value for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Architectural & Technical Leadership
- Review current projects, provide architectural guidance, and resolve critical technical and functional issues.
- Design and optimize data pipelines and integrations, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance.
- Provide hands-on debugging and technical leadership across multiple teams.
- Embed governance and best practices into solution design for long-term sustainability.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Diagnose systemic issues related to data quality, integrations, or platform usage, and implement scalable fixes.
- Introduce process and technical improvements to accelerate solution delivery and reduce future risks.
Business Engagement & Onboarding
- Partner with sales, account managers, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable roadmaps and scalable solutions.
- Drive smooth onboarding of business units onto Palantir and related platforms, ensuring rapid time-to-value.
- Conduct presentations, training sessions, and feedback loops to align solutions with business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with engineering, solution architects, and platform experts to deliver robust, maintainable designs.
- Partner with compliance, and IT stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Act as a technical and functional advisor, bridging communication across technical and non-technical groups.
Qualifications:
Required
- Palantir Expertise: Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP, including data integration, ontology design, pipeline management, and application troubleshooting.
- Data Engineering Depth: Proven ability to design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines (ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lakes).
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python (preferred) or equivalent scripting language for automation and debugging.
- API Integration: Strong experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs.
- Data Modeling: Solid knowledge of relational data modeling and experience handling structured/unstructured data at scale.
- End-to-End Delivery: Proven track record of taking projects from ingestion through transformation to business-facing applications within Foundry, enabling stakeholders to derive value directly from the platform.
- Machine Learning / AI Experience: Prior exposure to building, integrating, or deploying ML/AI workflows in production settings, ideally leveraging Foundry or similar platforms.
- Client-Facing Leadership: Track record of engaging business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and delivering solutions in client-facing environments.
- Architect-Level Delivery: Experience reviewing, designing, and scaling enterprise solutions that balance technical soundness with business outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with engineering, compliance, legal, and commercial teams.
- Critical Issue Resolution: Demonstrated success in diagnosing and resolving the hardest technical and functional issues under time pressure.
Preferred
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for integration and infrastructure.
- Visualization & Analytics Tools: Hands-on with Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- NoSQL Databases: Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Domain Expertise: Exposure to regulated industries (finance, healthcare, defense, compliance-heavy environments).
- Consulting/Hybrid Role Background: Prior experience in consulting or hybrid client facing technical delivery roles.
- Performance & Scalability Tuning: Expertise in optimizing systems for speed, cost efficiency, and long-term scalability.
- Training & Enablement: Experience onboarding users, conducting workshops, and producing technical documentation/playbooks.
