The Manager, Sales Engagement & Operations plays a critical orchestration role between Sales, Delivery, and Talent teams to ensure seamless execution of the pre-sales process. This role also serves as a key enabler of sales operations — managing CRM data hygiene and relevance, sales metrics, talent demand forecasting, and handovers. You will bridge Sales and Delivery, enabling operational rigor while supporting clarity of demand and expectations, talent profile and location preferences, and pre-sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales–Delivery Orchestration

- Act as the single point of coordination during the pre-sales stage.
- Align the right experts (solution owners, SMEs, DMs, Architects) based on deal stage and client needs.
- Maintain and enforce the seamless pre-sales and engagement playbooks.                                  - Facilitate communication between internal teams and clients to ensure clarity and alignment during the sales cycle.
- Ensure a smooth client handover from Sales to Delivery with no escalations or delivery surprises.

2. Pre-sales Process Ownership

- Define, maintain, and continuously improve the pre-sales process and workflows.
- Manage discovery call scheduling, proposal creation, pricing coordination, and technical solutioning.
- Drive adherence to internal pre-sales SLAs (e.g., time to proposal, proposal approval loops).

3. CRM & Pipeline Management (HubSpot)

- Own CRM data hygiene and pipeline accuracy: ensure all deals, contacts, and notes are up to date.
- Monitor pipeline velocity, flag bottlenecks, and follow up with Sales or Delivery for missing updates.
- Generate regular pipeline health reports and dashboards for internal visibility.
- Track and report on engagement metrics and sales pipeline status to senior management.

4. Talent Demand Forecasting

- Translate pipeline activity into talent projections (roles, skills, start dates).
- Provide timely and accurate talent demand projections to Delivery Directors, Resource Managers, and TA Leads.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align resource availability with project requirements.
- Ensure early flagging of talent availability issues and maintain clarity in resource planning.

5. Sales Operations Support

- Support the Sales team with insights on talent availability and capacity.
- Track and analyze pre-sales cost and effort per deal.
- Deliver win/loss reports and conversion metrics.
- Provide visibility into pre-sales team workload, efficiency, and time spent per opportunity.
- Identify areas of improvement in sales operations and pre-sales resource planning.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate is self-organized, proactive, communicative, and thrives in a remote-first, global environment.

- 3–5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Pre-Sales, Client Engagement, or a similar role in a tech or IT services company
- Strong experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and pipeline reporting
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a global, remote setting
- Effective communicator with the ability to liaise across departments and cultures
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with talent acquisition and resource management processes is a plus

Key Metrics and Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Pre-sales cycle time (e.g., RFI/RFP turnaround, proposal SLA compliance)
- HubSpot data accuracy and pipeline update cadence
- Handover quality score (no escalation, no delivery surprises)
- Forecasting accuracy (as rated by Delivery and Talent teams)
- Engagement metrics and pre-sales team utilization
- Cost of sale visibility and optimization
