About the role
Proxet is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure software quality and the reliability of the project. In this role, you will design and implement comprehensive test strategies, develop automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.
About the project
Our client is a global real estate services company specializing in the management and development of commercial properties. Over the past several years, the organization has made significant strides in systematizing and standardizing its reporting infrastructure and capabilities, utilizing Azure, MS Power Platform, Snowflake. Due to the increased demand for reporting, the organization is seeking a dedicated team to expand capacity and free up existing resources.
Who are we looking for?
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of commercial experience in Quality Assurance
- Experience in Python automated testing frameworks (i.e. pytest, selenium, playwright, cypress)
- Experience with automated API testing (Postman, REST-assured or similar)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Solid understanding of Data testing, including pipelines and transformations
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and the knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Good communication in English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Experience working with Palantir Foundry platform
- Knowledge of ETL processes and testing strategies
- Understanding of data governance principles
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites to validate data pipelines, APIs, and data-driven applications
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and QA team members to establish quality standards for all product deliverables
- Design and maintain CI/CD integration for automated tests to support continuous quality assurance processes
- Conduct manual testing and exploratory testing on data processing modules when automation is not feasible
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to contribute to process improvement
- Document test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
