We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines and data warehouses. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing data workflows, ensuring data quality, and integrating various data sources to support our business objectives.

Who are we looking for?
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role;
- 5+ years architecting data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in AWS;
- 5+ years developing data ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipelines with AWS;
- 4+ years building serverless and containerized backend applications;
- 4+ years of experience with Python;
- Expert level experience with AWS web services - IoT core, Kinesis data streams, Kinesis firehose streams, Redshift, S3, DynamoDB, ECS, Lambda, Glue, Athena;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Data Bricks;
- Knowledge or Experience with AWS Timestream;
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Airflow and AWS Glue;
- Manage and optimize data storage solutions and data warehouses, including Amazon Redshift and Dynamo DB;
- Implement and oversee data integration strategies using AWS services such as S3 and Lake Formation;
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions;
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes;
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.
