About the role:

The DevOps Engineer with Azure Expertise is responsible for our cloud infrastructure’s strategic design, implementation, and management, focusing on Microsoft Azure. This role emphasizes automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and maintaining high availability and disaster recovery strategies. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with stakeholders to deploy secure, scalable Azure solutions, ensuring compliance with information security policies and industry standards.

About the project:

Our client operates community and specialty hospitals, a managed care organization, a physician network, community health centers, home care, and other health-related entities in the United States.

The Insight Research Portal is a web-based application with over 150,000 current users developed for the entire research community to review, monitor, and manage research portfolios. The main goal of Insight is to unite complex and dispersed organizational processes into one application and help alleviate administrative burdens.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in enterprise-level Azure/cloud system management.
3+ years of deep experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in Azure networking and security features, provisioning environments with Azure SQL Server Managed Instance.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are preferred.
Deep knowledge of Azure application components, infrastructure, networking, databases, and monitoring solutions.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and expertise in Azure pipelines.

Nice to have:

Infrastructure as a code experience (Bicep/Terraform templates)
Microsoft SQL Server maintenance and development experience
Knowledge of .Net or .Net Core

Responsibilities:

Lead the automation of Azure resource deployment and developed IaC principles using ARM templates and Terraform.
CI/CD Optimization: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines tailored to infrastructure and customer-specific needs, including deployment SQL Server Agent jobs/SSIS packages/ADF workflows.
Creating and Managing Pipelines: Generate/update SAS links and update secrets. Provision/Deprovision and Start/Stop Non-Prod Environments for cost-saving.
Database Management for Testing: Restore/refresh databases for testing purposes and apply masking scripts.
Updating pipelines for deploying SQL Server Agent Jobs/SSIS Packages: Merge changes to GIT REPO.
Network Configuration: Oversee network settings including DNS, load balancers, and actively contribute to cloud security strategies (e.g., Firewalls, NSGs).
