About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior / Tech Lead Frontend Engineer to drive the evolution of our customer-facing applications. This role combines deep expertise in React and Next.js with strong technical leadership to shape architecture, mentor the team, and deliver high-quality, performant solutions for industrial asset management and machinery health monitoring.

Our client specializes in innovative technologies and services for plant asset management in industrial and energy environments. The company delivers mechanical, electrical, and software solutions that help plants monitor and maintain their critical equipment, gaining real-time insight into machinery health through asset monitoring systems and machinery upgrades
Who are we looking for?
Skills & Experience:
- In-depth understanding of frontend development (7+ years of experience)
- Excellent knowledge of React JS and Next.js
- Expert knowledge of client-side technologies: HTML, JS/TS, CSS;
- Expert knowledge of frontend unit-testing libraries and E2E testing libraries: React testing library, Jest/Vitest, Cypress/Playwright.
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles, specifically demonstrating advanced knowledge of configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and leveraging infrastructure tools like Docker to ensure reliable, automated deployments.
- Experience leading or technically guiding a team (e.g. mentoring, code reviews, architectural decisions).
- Willingness to remain hands-on and take ownership of complex features end-to-end.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions.
- Upper-intermediate English or above
Would be a plus:
- Experience working in a product company or long-term project in industrial / energy sector products, plant asset management, or machinery/equipment monitoring solutions.
- Previous experience collaborating closely with business stakeholders and translating domain requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and introduce improvements to existing functionalities throughout the continuous expansion of the applications;
- Build reusable UI components and design scalable UI architecture for upcoming features and enhancements.
- Produce well-designed and efficient code using the best software development practices;
- Perform code reviews in compliance with the best engineering practices, coding standards, and quality criteria set for the projects;
- Proactively suggest improvements to architecture, coding practices, and tooling, and help solve complex customer problems.
- Ensure best practices in testing, code quality, documentation, and CI/CD are consistently followed.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance, UX, and maintainability issues on the frontend.
